Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School

Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS), established jointly by Tsinghua University and the Shenzhen Municipal Government, needed furnishings for its activity center that would support an international, borderless academic environment. DIOUS organized the space into three distinct zones: a public leisure area with bright blue, red and orange sofas for discussion, meetings and rest; a self-study hall kept tranquil with light-toned furniture, reading tables with privacy screens and desks fitted with power outlets; and an office area that balances collaboration and privacy through three-seater workstations with dividing screens, refined conference tables and breathable chairs. Furniture varies by functional space, creating a multifunctional environment that plays an important role in campus life.
